Mr. William David "Billy" Carter, age 77, of Dickson, TN passed away Monday, November 17, 2025, at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital. He was born on May 30, 1948, in Nashville, TN to William Franklin and Brenda Kay Carter. Billy was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, working on small engines, and grilling for his neighbors. He was always the first to volunteer when someone needed a helping hand, offering a quick wit and a contagious laugh to ease any burden.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Woods Funeral Home, 10487 Bold Springs Rd, McEwen, Tennessee. Pastor Chris Bohanon will deliver the eulogy.
Interment will follow the service at Union Cemetery, Dickson, Tennessee.
