Mr. Joseph "Joey" Alan Peters, age 54, of McEwen, TN passed away Monday, May 11, 2026, at his home. He was born on November 29, 1971, in Nashville, TN to Richard Glenn and Mary Katherine Peters. Joey worked for many years in commercial retail management. He was a dedicated fan of the Nashville Predators, an amateur woodworker, and a lover of classic rock. Joey’s booming voice and legendary storytelling will be missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Sacred Woods Funeral Home, 10487 Bold Springs Rd, McEwen, Tennessee. Father Vimal Backiyaraj will deliver the eulogy.
Interment will follow the service at Peaceful Valley Cemetery, McEwen, Tennessee.
