Mr. Charles Edward "Charlie" Boyd, age 82, of McEwen, TN passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, at his residence. He was born on January 3, 1943, in McEwen, TN to John Raymond and Betty Sue Boyd. Mr. Charlie was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he returned home to farm the family land. He was a quiet pillar of the community, a master of checkers, and a loving husband and father.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Woods Funeral Home, 10487 Bold Springs Rd, McEwen, Tennessee. Pastor Chris Bohanon will deliver the eulogy.
